Dear Program Chairperson:
I would like to introduce 'The Women's Spiritual Repertory Company' - an organization of historical reenactors who have sought to expand their understanding of women in ancient times, and who are now available to offer presentations on the lives of the characters they have chosen to represent.
Our presenters have studied the lives of women from both the Old and New Testament.
Each appears in authentic costume and gives a monologue about the life of her character, or a dialogue with other of our women characters of the same story, time, or culture.
Our members have explored the lives of individual Biblical women. Their costumed presentations are drawn from a close reading of Scripture, detailed historical research, and their own inspiration.After their performance, they welcome questions about their study and the women they portray.
